Versace is reissuing J. Lo's notorious palm print dress (in sneaker form), to celebrate her CFDA Fashion Icon Award
Break the internet
When J. Lo's CFDA Fashion Icon Award was announced a couple of days ago, our memories were immediately swept back to that iconic Versace dress. You know, the tropically-themed one from spring/summer 2000, with the neckline that plunged to a hoo-ha studded with citrine quartz; the one that allegedly broke Google — prompting the web giant to retool its image search function — and demoted Liz Hurley's safety pin gown to second place in the Versace frock pantheon; the one that, as of 2013, the triple-threat performer still displayed on a mannequin in her home spa (yes, really)?
Well, Donatella remembers that lewk just as fondly as we do, and she's reviving the iconic item as a unisex, limited edition Chain Reaction sneaker. Featuring a distinctive sole, moulded as a series of circular links, the Jungle Print Chain Reaction also features a sweet extra touch: 'love' in braille lettering on the toebox of the shoe.

The Versace Jungle Print Chain Reaction sneaker will be available from 1 May on versace.com, as well as at selected Versace boutiques and retail partners worldwide.
