Timberland issues the TYPE-TB01 in spirit of an earlier collaboration with Madness
It only gets better
Timberland first released the TYPE-MD01 six-inch boot in navy designed in tandem with Shawn Yue, Hong Kong actor and founder of streetwear label Madness, late last year. The collaboration model was known for its lightweight quality; Yue's objective was to transform the footwear company's suede signature into a boot that would be as comfortable as it was functional. This saw the splicing of its upper to include lightweight GORE-TEX fabric inserts.
Now, Timberland is releasing three more colourways in Yue's design with a few tweaks in place. Nylon contrasts the boot's suede body on the upper, while the outsole is treated to an anti-slip Vibram® MorflexTM. The new iteration is known as the TYPE-TB01, waterproof yet breathable by way of GORE-TEX® Performance Comfort technology. See the action below.
Available at Timberland Ion Orchard and Vivocity stores from 5 January.
