Louis Vuitton refreshes the UNICEF Lockit bracelet with poppy hues
Early last year, Louis Vuitton launched its #MakeAPromise campaign in support of UNICEF initiatives in Syria. Through the sales of a specially designed bracelet and necklace — the Silver Lockit — the brand has raised and donated 2.5 million dollars to UNICEF for children in need.
As emphasis on its commitment, Louis Vuitton introduces their symbol for hope in five new vivid colours. The bracelet is reworked with cords in poppy shades, but the original tumbler lock designed by Georges Vuitton in 1890 is retained. The brand vows to contribute USD$100 to UNICEF with every purchase of the Silver Lockit Colour bracelet.
