The Cinderella shoes worthy of Meghan Markle and all princesses, real or imaginary
One for the books
By now, the world over knows Meghan, Duchess of Sussex aka Meghan Markle married Harry, Duke of Sussex in Clare Waight Keller of Givenchy at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle last weekend. Walking her down the aisle wasn't just Prince Charles, but a certain pair of silk duchess satin pumps, also designed by the Brit inspired by vintage Givenchy couture.
That's all fine and dandy, but having just seen Jimmy Choo's latest Cinderella collection for pre-fall 2018, one thinks the newly minted royal may have settled. Not that wearing a pair of 7000 Swarovski crystal-encrusted slippers were really an option for the "princess" to begin with, but what are fairy tales made of if not unrealistic dreams and dazzling jewels, eh?
Dressed in red and rose gold, the embellished pumps in Jimmy Choo's existing Cinderella silhouette are coupled with similarly Swarovski-embroidered Cloud clutches, for a (you guessed it) match made in heaven.
Jimmy Choo's Cinderella collection is available in stores.
