You've heard the news, we're back to a reality that's pretty close to circuit breaker Phase 2, except we still have our favourite eateries, bars, and attractions in operations. With that being said, bigger events and high-risk activities remain on hold — with the priority of keeping new cases on the low. Not to fret though, this week, we have indie European films to watch, a special brunch for Mother's Day, and many more to keep the weekend pretty full.

THEATRE | European Film Festival

After a year-long hiatus due to the pandemic, the European Film Festival is back for its 30th anniversary. The event aims to showcase the diversity and creativity of filmmakers across Europe through a mix of live-action and animated films. All screenings will take place at The Projector and seating will be limited to 100 per theatre.

6001 Beach Rd, #05-00 Golden Mile Tower, till 23 May. Click here for more information.

FUN | Food stamp carving workshop

Food and knick-knack lovers unite. Wheniwasfour and Droolstamps are hosting a beginner-friendly workshop where participants can make their own handmade and unique stamps inspired by local delights such as Satay and Ang Ku Kueh. All materials and tools will be provided, so come as you are to tinker and create trinkets to take home.

231 Bain St, Bras Basah Complex, happening on 8, 15 and 22 May. Sign up here.

EAT | LeVel33 Mother's Day brunch

We said it once and we will say it again: treat your mothers like the queens that they are. LeVel33 added a special brunch offering starting from 12pm to 3.30pm this weekend. The exclusive full-course meal set comes with salmon sashimi as the starter, followed by pan-seared tiger prawn with housemade linguine, and ending on a sweet note with a layered honey cake that is accompanied by a strawberry and Valrhona chocolate sauce.

8 Marina Blvd, #33 - 01. Make reservations here.

EXPERIENCE | Crepe cake workshop

Love experimenting with recipes and eating sweet treats? Well, this SAYBONS cooking class will definitely hit the mark. A trained pastry chef will walk you through step-by-step instructions on how to make your very own French Mille crepe cake from scratch, which you can bring home after packaging and decorating it to perfection. The workshop also includes a complimentary drink and crepe to savour.

6 Shenton Way #01-24, SAYBONS @ OUE Downtown Gallery. Register here.

CARE | Naumi Hotel staycation and yoga with Denise Keller

Yes, we are all bummed that gyms and similar studios are closed for the time being. But this is the perfect excuse to have a relaxing staycation. Naumi Hotel is offering a package deal this weekend including a 45-minute yoga session with celebrity instructor Denise Keller. Honestly, this would be an amazing last-minute gift for your mothers and wives, especially if you forgot to get them something special — all while hitting your fitness goals.

41 Seah St, Naumi Hotel Singapore, Singapore 188396, from 7 to 9 May. Book your deal here.
