Stop right now, thank you very much

With the recent announcement of the Spice Girls reuniting to work on new opportunities, we reminisce their good times in a gallery of Girl Power

What happens when you put Simon Fuller in a group of women that are posh, ginger, baby, scary and sporty? You get a comeback, and not just any old marketing ploy, but one that'll spice up your life. Yes, stop right now: The Spice Girls will be back.

Not that they've disappeared entirely. Victoria Beckham, Geri Horner, Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown and Melanie Chisholm have never really left the radar since their collective debut in 1996 — though things have been pretty quiet on the music front since their last reunion. But a picture released on Instagram with all five members together has gotten fans pretty psyched. A statement was released later the same day, which promised "new opportunities together" and how they'll be "reinforcing our message of female empowerment for future generations."

We can't hardly wait.
