Social media scoop: Singapore Fashion Week begins, Lady Gaga sings in Carpool Karaoke and Taylor Swift does not give a f*ck
New this week
1. Lady Gaga and James Corden get on Carpool Karaoke
Gaga's the name on everyone's lips since the release of her latest album, Joanne. Starting the ride with Perfect Illusion and taking us through hits such as Bad Romance, Edge of Glory, Million Reasons and even O-Town's Liquid Dreams, she even gave a short critique of the host's showcase of Gaga outfits. Another notable fan? Hollywood hunk Bradley Cooper.
2. Taylor Swift is the reason why you came
We have to give props to the singer for her blatant cheekiness. Performing at the Formula 1 U.S. Grand Prix in Austin, she belted out a stripped down version of ex Calvin Harris' This Is What You Came For, which she famously co-wrote.
3. Karlie Kloss continues gallivanting about Tokyo
Before returning to Los Angeles, the model gave the famous Shibuya crossing some of that Klossy.
4. Gigi Hadid's penciling in her promises
The face of Stuart Weitzman's fall 2016 campaign designed a limited edition boot, which was launched with a short clip directed by James Franco. Part of the Gigi Boot's proceeds will go towards Pencils of Promise who has committed to building three schools in Ghana, Guatemala and Laos.
5. Bella Hadid unleashes her inner fan
Meanwhile, the other Hadid sister, Bella, was spotted at Madison Square Garden cheering on the New York Rangers in their ice hockey match against Detroit Red Wings.
6. #ThrowbackThursday with Kendall Jenner
The model posted this adorable throwback of her younger self with sisters Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner in their seemingly innocent, pre-lip kit and eyebrow serum-less days.
7. Pandora's box of prizes
Singapore Fashion Week returns with a new venue and a new theme of celebrating Asian designers. Some champers came in handy.
8. Backstage beauties
As models geared up for the Guo Pei and Max Tan shows, some snaps highlighted the mood moments before the show.
9. Food for fuel
Really, what's a celebration without a good spread? Contrary to popular belief, "fashion people" do eat...in bite-sized pieces of course.
10. Work, baby, work
The struggle might be real, but what a great struggle it could be. Model Aimee Cheng Bradshaw preps for Singapore Fashion Week with some tough body work.
