Shakespeare’s Globe comes to Singapore with Hamlet

Straight from the iconic Globe Theatre, one of Shakespeare’s most renowned works will be staged locally

The first international play to grace the Capitol Theatre's stage, Globe to Globe Hamlet has a hefty aim: to reach all countries in the world. The local theatre scene has seen its fair share of Shakespeare, but the authenticity of a travelling version from the Globe itself is unique.

Expect the intensity of the play to be uncompromising: Hamlet, the tale of a youthful Danish prince seeking revenge for the murder of his father, will be staged on a minimal set at a small venue. It's a subtle reminder to get your tickets quickly  only five shows will be staged.
