Living the #BorgLife with Ray Fisher
While the new Justice League trailer might split hairs and put some panties in a twist (for better for worse), we have to say that it does make us just a tad more excited for Cyborg's real-life debut. Sure, he had a cameo in Batman v Superman (where we saw the character's father turn him into a metallic man), but we're pumped for the real deal... notably since the actor, Ray Fisher, has been feeding us with his version of the #BorgLife on his social media channels.
The 30-year-old from New Jersey's about to make his official, big-time entry into Hollywood after theatre stints which include his role as the rapist in To Kill A Mockingbird. In Justice League, DC's answer to Marvel's Avengers, he'll star along heavyweights such as Henry Cavill (Superman), Jason Momoa (Aquaman), Ben Affleck (Batman) and Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman). Playing Cyborg (also known as Victor Stone), he'll slip into this grounded character who has been part of the DC Universe since 1980, when George Perez and Marv Wolfman introduced him in DC Comics Presents #26. His abilities a result of an accident, Cyborg's main struggle deals with him attempting to retain his human side as much as possible, as well as deal with some serious daddy issues. Fisher might not have achieved hunk status officially yet, but these #BorgLife snapshots are definitely keeping us glued in.
