Set for release on 17 December, Star Wars: The Force Awakens releases its official trailer
Yes, the new Star Wars trailer is out, and yes, the whole world has imploded — well, the Star Wars-crazed fan world, at least. Picking up three decades after Return of the Jedi (1983), the seventh installment in the series stars Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill reprising their roles as Han Solo and Luke Skywalker respectively, along with a host of new names: Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac, John Boyega and Lupita Nyong'o. There's a lot to absorb in this full-length trailer — we see equipment including the new TIE Fighter and the Millenium Falcon, as well as a sad Princess Leia and a rather triumphant Chewie. There's still no sign of Nyong'o though, but what we're certain of is this: With Adam Driver (of Girls) as resident baddie Kylo Ren (who's out to presumably avenge Darth Vader), we'll be in for a dangerously delicious treat.
