Louis Vuitton's 'Time Capsule' exhibition will come to Singapore
After Hong Kong, Bangkok and Berlin, Louis Vuitton is bringing their 'Time Capsule' exhibition to Singapore. A travelling exhibition that revisits the fashion house's landmark innovations in technology and design, the collection of objects and paraphernalia tell a story that dates back to 1854, the year Vuitton first established his travel luggage business in Paris at 4 Rue Neuve des Capucines.
When Hong Kong was Louis Vuitton's first stop, the exhibition was broken down into five themes that uncovered the codes of the house, journeys around the world, the elegance and beauty in motion, Louis Vuitton's icons as well as Hong Kong's relationship with the brand. French artisans were also present to demonstrate the house-made leatherwork, while curated artworks from local Hong Kong artists complemented the space. If the edition in Singapore follows suit, you can expect the same.
18 October to 5 November from 10am to 10pm at Level 1, ION Orchard.
