In its 10th year, the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix returned bringing fast cars and good vibes: That starting crash, Ariana Grande's mini-gig at Gardens by the Bay and a cheeky journalist

1. A start like no other
What a start. On the approach to Turn 1 at the start of the finals, Sebastian Vettel, Kimi Raikkonen and Max Verstappen collided, crashing out of the wet race — in its 10th year, the F1 Singapore Grand Prix experienced its first downpour on the last day.

2. Right in the thick of it
Don't you just love the driver cam? Here's a view of how the crash happened right from the track.

3. Grande in the Gardens
Off track and a day before her scheduled performance, Ariana Grande was spotted singing show tunes at Gardens by the Bay, remaining strangely unrecognised by the public.

4. Praise be to Ariana
Fellow F1 performer Lianna La Havas sung praises for Grande's massive performance, her debut in Singapore.

5. A wet weekend
Here for her debut performance in Singapore, La Havas also experienced what the damp weekend had to offer.

6. A meeting of minds
Won't you want to be in this F1 sandwich? Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic gets chummy with Lewis Hamilton and JJ Lin.

7. Not an ordinary world
Meanwhile, Duran Duran drummer Roger Taylor made some new fans in the circuit.

8. Third time's a charm
A fan favourite, Aussie Daniel Ricciardo came in at a close second just behind Hamilton.

9. It's Hamilton time
Somehow capitalising on the crash, Hamilton came in first, also crediting the miraculous rain at his 10th showing here.

10. Fun and games
Reporting live's pretty tough — trust these journalists to squeeze in some fun while doing so.
