Céline Dion will perform in Singapore in July
The power of love
Lucky us. Singapore is one of the stops in Céline Dion's upcoming Asian tour this year. Taking a break from her daily residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, the My Heart Will Go On singer will perform at Marina Bay Sands as part of concert series, Sands Live, on 3 and 4 July.
From writing her first song at age 12 to lending her vocals to soundtracks such as Beauty and the Beast and Titanic, Dion is considered one of the most iconic female voices of the '90s with the likes of Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. She sat on the throne of power ballads, with hits like The Power of Love, Because You Loved Me and Where Does My Heart Beat Now. Starting her career in French from her native Quebec in Canada, her crossover to English proved successful, chalking up five Grammy awards so far.
Dion's Asian leg of her Céline Dion Live 2018 tour also includes Macau, Jakarta, Taipei, Tokyo, Bangkok and Manila. This will be Dion's second time performing in Singapore — the singer was last here in 2008.
Celine Dion will perform in Singapore on 3 and 4 July at the Sands Grands Ballroom. Stay tuned for ticket release details.
