Artist Gazelle Twin brings her horror-pop performance to Singapore
Meet Gazelle Twin, who's about to turn your insides out with her experimental sound

Singaepore's first tech and art festival will be happening in October, and what better way to welcome it than with a teaser by Gazelle Twin. Also known as Elizabeth Bernholz, this thrilling Brighton native is a composer, producer and musician who will bring her genre of "horror pop" to our shores for the first time. Unflesh, her second studio album, features a beat-driven collection of tracks a serial killer would approve of. Themed around the human body and the purported evils that manifest — puberty, anxiety, miscarriage, illness and euthanasia — Twin's cold and hypnotic vocals aim to put you out of your comfort zone. A more sinister Grimes, if you will.

It's not for everyone, but if you're looking to expand your aural favourites and are open to an alternative experience, Gazelle Twin's the way to go. Listen to a sampler below.

She's a great introduction to FutureEverything, which will take place in Singapore for the very first time in October. Hailing from Manchester, the festival seeks to bring together coders, designers, developers and artists to explore how society and technology meet in the middle. We reckon an invitation to model Karlie Kloss — of "Kode with Karlie" fame — is in the cards.

Gazelle Twin will be performing at ArtScience Museum on 10 September at 8pm. FutureEverything Singapore festival which be held from 10 to 18 October.
