Alexander Wang is the first designer to be featured on Apple Music's fashion curator program which connects the world of fashion and music together

If you've been following Alexander Wang's work closely, you'll know he's really into music. The former creative director of Balenciaga and fashion designer of his eponymous label has collaborated with the likes of current industry favourites The Weeknd, Diplo, Madonna, Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Ludacris, Missy Elliott and A$AP Rocky. For his Spring Summer 2016 campaign, he debuted the WANGSQUAD, a posse of 21 personalities in music and fashion including the imitable Chaerin Lee (CL). It comes as no surprise that Wang's the first fashion aide of Apple Music's fashion curator program.

Alexander Wang Apple Music

Launched yesterday in New York, Apple Music Fashion is a platform where designers can express themselves and share music that inspires them, in turn inspiring future protégés. Bridging music and fashion together, they've turned to Wang who's created three playlists: CHILL, HYPE and VIBE. Each playlist features the designer's liking to street and urban music often used in his runway shows, favouring hiphop, r&b, dance and jungle trap. Watch the video from Apple Music below to see how the three playlists work. Now you can chill, hype and vibe with Alexander Wang in the comfort of your own home.
