#ThrowbackThursday: It's The Ship
Ahoy shipmate!
Forget what you thought about cruises and its association with retirees. The party boat scene has been making waves in the Western world for quite a few years now, with everyone from Diplo's record label, Mad Decent to the Bahama's bound Holy Ship!, selling out cabins.
It's The Ship, Asia's first party cruise, did the same just last week, bringing revelers from here to Langkawi for a mini beach party and then back to Singapore, all in three activity-packed days. There's something about sailing off to an exotic location with some 3,000 others who share the same penchant for sunshine, thumping beats and revelry that makes for a bouyantly good time and visual antics you won't find anywhere else. Here's what we enjoyed:
Impromptu float parties:
Group nautical-themed dressing:
Animal pajama onesies wandering the corridors are the norm, not exception:
A troupe of Playboy Bunnies who move everywhere as a leggy herd:
Guests who can pass off for Bunnies themselves:
Fun loving company whenever you want it, day or night:
Daily towel art:
A bigger monkey than you, always:
Fuel to keep you going:
...and world peace:
It's The Ship 2015 set sail from 20th to 23rd November from Singapore to Langkawi, return, featuring over 50 regional and international electronic acts.
