Three other Brazilian bossa nova songs you've probably forgotten
Not just the girl from Ipanema
1. Mas Que Nada, Jorge Ben Jor
You’ll recognise this classic from the Black Eyed Peas’ cover of it, released in 2006. The original was recorded in 1963.
2. Aguas De Março, Elis Regina and Tom Jobim
A duet that makes you want to grab a partner and dance (preferably barefoot on the sand), this playful tune — which means “Waters of March” is an ideal summer anthem.
3. Samba da Benção, Bebel Gilberto
Fans of the movie Closer will recognise this tune used in the scene where Natalie Portman’s character meets Clive Owen’s in the gallery.
