Music is important to me. It inspires me, it drives me, it allows me to chase my moods throughout the day, and sometimes vice versa. In a way, I live my life like a musical. Every moment has a soundtrack to it. From when I wake up, to when I'm on my way to an event, or getting ready for a show, or reflecting and creating; I'll always put on tracks that fit the moment of how I'm feeling. The highs and the lows. I guess you could plot out my whole life story from A to B without a single word penned to paper: just a mammoth playlist. As an artist, sometimes words just aren't enough to explain the raw stripped-wire sensations of how we feel.

This playlist is one of those stories. It very much reflects the mood of my 2018, and it's definitely going to see me through in 2019. It's a playlist that reflects how far I've come, and what I've come from. It's about pushing through every single challenge to fight for what you believe in and are passionate about. It's about not worrying about being weird, or what people might think. It's about never feeling like you need to change or hang with the "IT" crowd. It's about being kind, honest and still getting what you want. It's about getting to your damn feet and winning. I hope you like it, and I hope it inspires you to follow your dreams too. Go get 'em, Tiger.

I picked Sia's "Bird Set Free" because it punches me straight in the heart. It's the musical version of my restless, excited, wild brain pushing through and getting ready to explode with creativity. Dream Theater's "Through Her" captures a moment in my life where I was still becoming myself. Not that we ever stop growing, but I was really searching for myself. It was a tough time, but something incredible was born out of it.

"Tightrope" by Michelle Williams off The Greatest Showman soundtrack reminds me of a particular person, and how beautiful they are. I always think of this person when I listen to it. I feel like you can take on the world when you have the right strong person beside you. Cardi B's "Get Up" reminds me of my own struggle. The first time I heard it, I was driving in a car with an old friend, and they said it reminded them of me. When it came on, I was floored. Little did they know just how much of me was in this. I guess success always looks easy during and after the fact, but the journey is damn tough. This track inspires me to keep on going and fills me with a sense of pride at how far I've come.

I know, it's a weird one, but I picked the theme tune of the Back To The Future soundtrack because it captures a #mood. Let's go! Anything is possible! Everything is possible! And, granted, I'm also a total geek.
