Shawn Mendes will perform at the Indoor Stadium in October
Easy on the ears
Canadian pop singer and hearthrob Shawn Mendes will be returning to Singapore in October as part of his extensive world tour that kicks off in June. The Asian leg will start in Bangkok before travelling to high capacity venues in Singapore, Kaula Lumpur, Jarkarta, Manila, Macao and Tokyo.
Mendes — who recently made the headlines for claiming that he doesn't wash his face — sold-out his first performance in Singapore back in 2017 at The Star Theatre.
Last year, his self-titled third album (which had a terribly collaged floral cover that masked his flawless face according to fans) was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album while its chart-topping lead single "In My Blood" was in the running for Song of the Year at the Grammys.
Earlier this year, he broke the Internet with a flood of thirsty reactions when he stripped to boxer briefs for Calvin Klein's underwear campaign alongside fellow millennial good-looker actor Noah Centino.
Mendes has arguably filled the fresh-faced male pop music space that fellow Canadian Justin Bieber vacated when he took a break from the scene citing mental health issues.
