Joined by DJ Tropical White Boy and two of the Ragga Wakka dance crew, MAS1A shows us the dance moves to her single 'Time Wastin'

MAS1A is a woman on a mission. Having toured over 25 countries and collaborated with names like Pharrell, The Game, RZA (Wu Tang Clan) and Richie Beretta (Major Lazer), MAS1A has now set her sights on Asia, basing herself out of Singapore and working with some of the most exciting Southeast Asian talents. It's hard to not to get caught up in MAS1A's enthusiastic rhymes and the energy that emanates from her special take on dancehall, an evolution from her hip-hop roots. She has Jamaica to thank for that, having worked with Bob Marley's famed label, Tuff Gong Records.

Breaking the stereotypes of Singaporean women in mainstream media with her confident demeanour, upfront lyrics and music video imagery choices, she's stealing the limelight this month with the launch of the first single, 'Time Wastin'', off her upcoming fourth album, Far East Empress. The first follow-up song since her appearance on the title track of Fast and the Furious 8, she pokes fun at those who are all talk and no action. Tongue in cheek, bold and on her own terms, this is the Singapore woman MAS1A wants the world to know.

MAS1A + XXXSSS Tokyo's 'Time Wastin'' music video launch and after party takes place on 27 July at Straits Clan
