New releases this month recall throwback remixes of our favourites from Lana Del Rey, The Weeknd and Halsey
Save the date for 18 September, which is when Lana Del Rey's Honeymoon will be released. Heck, her teaser High by the Beach has already been on repeat in our heads since its release last month, being the ideal summer breakup song we've been waiting for. Music to Watch Boys To is also a dreamy track, which just dropped today — which is why we thought it's best to kick off this playlist with Alpines' remix of Blue Jeans, a track off Born to Die, which is thought to be what Honeymoon recalls.
Alternative pop's next big thing, Halsey, who recently stunned us with her gorgeous 'do at the MTV VMAs also features here with a Lost Kings' remix of Ghost. Meanwhile, have a taste of Scottish indie trio Chvrches' second album, Every Open Eye, with Get Away, before the album drops on 25 September — you might recognise the single from Drive's soundtrack. Finally, if you're not already sick of The Weeknd's Can't Feel My Face, Martin Garrix has shared his future house spin on it, which he debuted at the Digital Dreams Festival in Toronto last June.
