Buro 24/7 Singapore's Weekly Playlist: #13

Hump day treat

Buro 24/7 Singapore's Weekly Playlist: #13
It's a playlist of debuts — Years & Years, Halsey and Georgia — along with an awesome way to say thanks by Röyksopp

Years & Years is set to be the band of the future: They've expertly merged R&B, deep house and classic pop into their debut album, Communion. Out last month, Shine is that one song that's been stuck in our head, and thus, we're sharing the love. We're also looking forward to another debut, this time by Halsey, out on 28 August — Hurricane's a gorgeous taste of things to come — while Georgia's Nothing Solutions takes electro to multi-instrumental levels.

News that Pharrell will headline the Apple Music Festival in London has us throwing back to Disclosure's bitchin' rework of Pharrell's classic Frontin'. Finally, give thanks to the ongoing work week, whether good or bad, with Röyksopp's Thank You; their final track of their final album, which was also one of our favourite dance tracks from last year.
