6 November
Mood (Remix) by 24kGoldn and iann dior (feat. Justin Bieber and J Balvin)
24kGoldn and iann dior is back to set the Mood with an official remix featuring top stars Justin Bieber and J Balvin, even as the original version continues to sit atop music charts. The original track — with its infectious loop — was a viral TikTok hit that led to millions streaming the bop on music platforms. The new remix retains its infectious genre-blending beat with Bieber and Balvin delivering upbeat verses in line with the catchy track. This is not 24kGoldn's first viral hit — previous songs Valentino and City of Angels amassed a huge following after achieving TikTok success as well.
Hawái (Remix) by Maluma (feat. The Weeknd)
Hopping onto the remix train as well is the first-ever collaboration between Maluma and The Weeknd. The duo worked off Maluma's chart-topping hit, Hawái, with The Weeknd crooning away in his signature tenor for the first verse. The Canadian singer then switched over to Spanish for the chorus of the Papi Juancho track, which marks the first time the singer has sung in Spanish. "I have always admired The Weeknd so it feels nothing short of a dream come true to have him collab on Hawái remix," Maluma revealed in a statement. "He brought another flow to it and sang in both Spanish and English which is impressive."
Krabby Step by Swae Lee, Tyga and Lil Mosey
Rappers Swae Lee, Tyga and Lil Mosey have come together for a soundtrack collaboration for the Nickelodeon movie, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run. In what is perhaps one of the most wholesome track from the three rappers, the song is a sharp contrast from their usual offerings. The single features the rappers' laying signature bars atop a trap beat underlined by the ever-famous theme song from the cartoon. The track also features several Spongebob Squarepants characters as well as references to the franchise. You can catch The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run on Netflix right now, whilst reminiscing about the good ol' cartoon days.
Confetti by Little Mix
Confetti, the sixth studio album by Little Mix drops today, and with it comes the title track. The third promotional single off the album, the titular track sees a strong trap beat that sets the foundation for the girl group's signature flawless harmonies. On the single, member Perrie Edwards comments, "Confetti is sexy. It's very understated but cool. And we just feel cool listening to it. As soon as we had this song, we just knew this would be what the album would be called. It was fun, cool, and you could do so much with it."
What That Speed Bout?! by Mike WiLL Made-It (feat. Nicki Minaj and NBA YoungBoy)
Mike WiLL Made-It has geared up with Nicki Minaj and NBA YoungBoy for a fierce new collaboration. Titled What That Speed Bout?!, the rappers traded forceful verses over a swift tempo courtesy of the record producer, with additional production from 30 Roc. This marks the first single off Mike Will's upcoming album, which he recently revealed was close to completion. The trio shot an accompanying music video for the track, shot whilst Minaj was still pregnant earlier in the year.
