"One day you're in, the next day you're out." It seems like decades ago that supermodel Heidi Klum uttered that popular phrase on Bravo's pioneering fashion reality series Project Runway. The successful show is currently in its 18th season, hosted by model Karlie Kloss-kushner and fashion designer Cristiano Soriano, but that hasn't stopped streaming giant Netflix from concocting its very own version, Next In Fashion.

Hosted by Queer Eye's golden boy Tan France and British style muse Alexa Chung, its latest trailer revealed that it will not only feature a similar premise, but a eerily familiar aesthetic to Project Runway as well. Designers from all walks of life some of whom have worked for reputable fashion houses such as Stella McCartney and Alexander Wang  will face off in each episode in hopes of being, as Tan described, "a household name". Along with the promise of fame, the show has partnered up with Net-A-Porter to award the winner with a whopping $250,000 as well as the priceless opportunity to stock their debut collection on the luxury fashion retailer's website.

Besides Tan and Alexa's hilarious antics and spritely British accents, audiences can also look forward to a star-studded lineup of guest judges that includes Instagram's Eva Chen, American fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger, supermodel Adriana Lima, and rock musician Beth Ditto.

Tears, meltdowns, and emotional runway reveals there's going to be drama with a capital 'D'.

Next In Fashion premieres on Netflix on 29 January 2020.
