PERFORMANCE | Three Fat Virgins Unassembled (3FVU)
Written in the early 1990s by Ovidia Yu, this critically acclaimed play examines female identity through the lens of work, education, marriage, and parenthood. Directed by veteran theatremaker Grace Kalaiselvi, Its cast includes some of the brightest talents in media and theatre today: Chanel Chan, Munah Bagharib, Rebekah Sangeetha Dorai and Zelda Tatiana Ng.
PERFORMANCE | Stand-up: Fresh + Raw
A 10-part stand-up comedy writing workshop by the hilarious AF Sharul Channa will come to a rapturous conclusion when its participants make their debut as stand-up comedians in a open-mic style performance that'll run for two nights only.
EXHIBITION | 'Power of Letters'
Can letter writing be an effective medium to garner public support or raise awareness for change? This exhibition showcases letters that are written by women's rights advocates, dating all the way back to 1985. The hope is that these letters can demonstrate how policies and attitudes regarding women have changed over the years.
FILM | Innocents (2012)
Directed by award-winning Singaporean filmmaker Wong Chen-Hsi, this heartfelt coming-of-age film is set in the 1980s and revolves around Syafiqah befriends a boy in a strict institution. The outcasts escape into their own world of fantasy and freedom, until tragedy strikes and their lives take a turn for the worst.
