The unlikely spy from Kingsman returns to the big screen in Kingsman: The Golden Circle this week

He's lived in a village whose name you probably can't pronounce
While the 27-year-old was born near Liverpool, the actor — who identifies as Welsh and even has the accent to prove it — moved to Wales when he was two. He lived off the north coast of Wales, in an Anglesey village called Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch. It's quite a mouthful.

He's super supportive of his former co-stars
Apart from the great Colin Firth, Egerton has also worked alongside Alicia Vikander in the World War I British drama, Testament of Youth. He's also starred with Hugh Jackman in Eddie the Eagle, where Egerton played a British skier in the true story. When Jackman's last X-Men film came out earlier this year, Egerton was all hands on deck.

He can sing his heart out
When he's not busy kicking ass in Kingsman and its sequel, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Egerton puts his pipes to good use, whether it's singing along to Sam Smith hits or as Johnny, a Cockney-ish gangster gorilla in Sing. In the second installment of Kingsman, he'll return as Eggsy, the young spy who's caught in a new adventure where two elite secret organisations come together to fight a common enemy.

His star is just rising
Get in early on Egerton's prowess, for his face will be plastered on every billboard in due time. After Kingsman, he'll be in Billionaire Boys Club, also out in 2018. He'll also return to save the day as the title character in Robin Hood, out in 2018. The film also stars Jamie Foxx and Jamie Dornan.

Kingsman: The Golden Circle is showing in theatres on 15 June. Read about last week's #ManCrushMonday.
