Watch Sigur Ros' concert film, Heima, in Singapore
If you can't get enough of Sigur Rós after the Icelanders graced our shores at Neon Lights 2016, you're in for a treat this week. While the trio of Jónsi Birgisson, Georg Hólm and Orri Páll Dýrason won't exactly be back in Singapore that soon, you can follow them on a throwback to their 2006 concert tour on the big screen. The Projector's hosting a screening of Sigur Rós: Heima, a film that sees the alternative rockers return to their homeland of Iceland for a series of unexpected gigs.
It's also a way to explore the Nordic beauty through music, especially if you've always had Iceland on your bucket list of places to visit. You'll get to see the men perform at unconventional places such as coffee shops, an abandoned fish factory and even a protest site — spiced up with candid interview excerpts. Basically, it's the ultimate fan's wank-fest to all things Sigur Rós — yes, we went there. Think: Spice World, but cooler and moodier.
Sigur Ros: Heima is showing at The Projector. Read about last week's #ManCrushMonday.
