The charming actor is all set to win the hearts of audiences (male and female alike) as he reprises his role as the tortured eldest son in season two of Fox's Empire
It's going to be a good year for Trai Byers. When the second season of Fox's hit series Empire goes live this fall, all eyes will be on the strapping actor, who plays the eldest son starved for parental love. His sensitive, nuanced performance in the last few episodes of the first season gave more dimension to his character in the TV series, drawing sympathy from the audience.
In the trailer for the new season, Byers' character (André Lyon) is back by his Moschino-clad mother's side running their record label. We're just thrilled to see how he will navigate the brother-against-brother dynamic established in the debut season. Will there be another breakdown or more father-son bonding? One thing's for sure: We're definitely on Team André all the way.
