Serving swag

Just in time for the festive season, you can now shop for Moroccan and Turkish-inspired homeware at The Vintage Parlour's online store and showroom

The next time you find yourself noshing on an Adana kebab — that's a style of kebab that originates from the Adana region in Turkey — do it on the Adana plate by The Vintage Parlour. A homeware store by fashion journalist Lena Kamarudin-Tambunan, the range of plates, mirrors and tea sets brings the exotic flair from the Mediterranean-fringing locations of Turkey and Morocco onto the dining table.

While The Vintage Parlour started in 2012 as a platform to customise furniture (Kamarudin-Tambunan's family is in the furnishing and carpentry business in Bandung, Indonesia), the stylist has since branched out to homeware, inspired by her own hobby of collecting plates and tea cups from her travels. If you're looking to spruce up your serving swag for guests this Hari Raya Aidilfitri season, head to The Vintage Parlour for a taste of the Mediterranean. Each ceramic and porcelain plate is hand painted and suitable for use as sharing or singular plates.
