Zayn and Gigi: Their best hair moments
Are they on or off? No one knows the definitive answer. But whatever the case, bright young things singer Zayn Malik and model Gigi Hadid certainly look good both together and separately. Although the couple have made just one official public appearance on the red carpet — at the Met Gala 2016, where he even sported a metal arm — they've certainly dazzled in their solo appearance. Quite the adventurous spirits when it comes to their hair, here are our five favourite hair dos.
When Zayn had his blonde ambition moment
Stepping away from One Direction and into a future solo career, Malik signalled his intention with this very fashion hairdo — a bleached platinum buzz cut that he showed off at the men's SS16 shows last June.
When Gigi sported sexy bangs
Hadid knows her career very much rests on her crowning glory – a mane of long, beautiful, bronde hair. But that doesn't stop her from experimenting, as she did with these thick, 70's style bangs, that gave her usual girl-next-door looks a more sultry dimension.
When Gigi made the 'chop'
Okay we're a little confused at the mechanics of it, since the supermodel sported a chop one minute but yet her hair seemed to grow back almost overnight. Turns out her stylist faked this bob, by tucking her hair into a half wig and using extensions for the ends. Whatever the case, we were digging this daring, choppy 'do at the American Music Awards 2015, that made her look fresh, youthful and spirited.
When Zayn 'experimented'
It's not unusual to see men get crazy with their hair colour in this day and age, so when Malik had frosty, lavender pink tips at an industry party for Clive Davis, no one batted an eyelid. He is a musician after all, and aren't they supposed to be all angsty and creative. On another note, muted pastel shades are all the rage at the moment.
When Gigi did her 'girlfriend' hair to a tee
Hadid parlayed her wholesome yet drop dead gorgeous appeal by winning the 'Our New Girlfriend' title at the Spike TV Guys Choice Awards 2016. Sexist implications of the award aside, Hadid looked as stunning as ever with her bountiful, glorious, guy-approved tresses. We're loving the honeyed bronde shade and messy texture.
