Morning fix

Text: Azrin Tan

Are you a serial Netflix binge-watcher, chronic over-worker or simply an all-too-serious believer of sleep is for the weak? Well, if you fall into any of these categories, chances are you often find yourself still awake at 4am in the morning pondering your life decisions despite being well aware that you'd have to get up in barely 5 hours or so. The consequences of an erratic sleep schedule vary from person-to-person, but most of us are privy to the undereye tell of our precariously unhealthy sleep schedules. Be it a bad bout of wrinkles, dark circles, or puffy eyes, our concealers can only do so much to help us out.

As much as the miracle worker can help us hide our greatest fears, it's not the most effective when it comes to curing dullness or releasing under eye tension after a severe lack of rest. So whilst proper sleep is still what you really need, under eye patches might be your second best bet. They're essentially a mask meant for your undereyes alone; a short-term solution to brighten, soften, and reduce visible lines, especially when you need to show up to your planned meetings for the day, looking just fine. Like you would a regular mask, you leave them on in the morning for about 20 minutes or so before doing your skincare and makeup routine. Below, a curation of rad and revitalising under eye masks when you're in need of a quick fix.
