Urban Decay launches its Vice Liquid Lipsticks
Kiss kiss, bang bang
Last year, Urban Decay made a big splash with its launch of 100 lipsticks. This April, the brand debuts the Vice Liquid Lipstick that promises lippie lovers a plush, velvety finish and insane wear. First up, the lipstick is waterproof and transfer-proof. Next, each lippie lays down the pigmented colour with a comfortable, non-drying sensation, unlike many of the liquid lipsticks on the market. It comes in two finishes: comfort matte and metallized, pretty much cornering the main trends when it comes to this texture.
But what's a liquid lipstick without some cool and bold colours? There are 30 shades on offer ranging from everyday neutrals to bold, eye-catching brights and trendy shades. And because the devil's in the details, expect a precise, flocked paddle applicator for the perfect laydown of colour. The flat edge of the applicator allows complete coverage in one coat, while the tip is great for precision lining the corners and the cupid's bow. One tip: Don't press your lips together after applying, but allow your lippie to air dry instead. If you want a more pigmented finish, simply apply a second coat on top. Some of our favourite colours include Flame — a bright orange with gold glitter — and Tryst, a red-fuchsia. Check out our selection of our top, five shades below.
