Sulwhasoo brings the goodness of ginseng to skin
Back to your roots
Harmony and balance. That's something we could all use in our lives as well as our skin. Understanding the importance of these factors, Sulwhasoo has been nourishing and renewing complexions for 50 years using traditional herbal remedies and ingredients like ginseng. The latest product to get a revamp is the Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Cream EX. The cream also comes in EX Light — a lighter version of the original. The brand first introduced the ABC Ginseng Cream in 1966, and through the past 50 years have perfected the art of 'ginsenomics'.
Using both the root and the flower of the ginseng plant, the brand has developed a bioconversion technology that converts rare ginseng saponin into active ingredients that can penetrate deep into the skin. What this translates to is better efficacy. This luxurious yet fine textured cream, not only gets rid of dryness, dullness and a loss of firmness, it has a lifting effect on lined areas of the face. While we love the texture of the original formula, and think it's great for drier skin, it's actually recommended for use at night. The Concentrated Ginseng Renewing Cream EX Light meanwhile, is the perfect, global, anti-ageing cream-gel for the day. Not into herbal scents? It might take some getting used to the full-bodied ginseng fragrance, though we do personally like it. As it is not masked by artificial fragrances, we find it reminds us just how much goodness is packed into each jar of cream.
