1. Rihanna launches a Fenty Beauty house for TikTok content creators.
The beauty house launched their TikTok account a few weeks back as a prelude to to bad gal RiRi's latest project. Enter: the Fenty Beauty TikTok House. That's right, we're talking a literal house packed with FB products for resident TikTok users to play with; essentially, a space for fans to collaborate, express, and build a community together. Neat. As of now, they're based solely in L.A., but perhaps they'll consider coming to our sunny shores sometime soon...? Fingers crossed.
2. Glossier closes all stores and pop-ups temporarily in light of Covid-19.
Founder, Emily Weiss, took to Instagram to explain her decision, stating that this was done in a bid to "respect calls for social distancing" and to "promote public safety" so as to create less harm and more good in the world. Well-said. Rest assured, you can still scoop up your Glossier favourites online.
3. Sephora US outlets cancel all in-store services to help protect customers and employees from the spread of Covid-19.
That's makeovers, skincare consultations, brow waxing, and the like, mind. Hand sanitisers will also be accessible for use to both customers and employees, while testers will be cleaned with hospital-grade disinfectant throughout the day. We haven't received word as to if it will extend to Singapore locations too, but we should surely hope so.
