Rihanna is launching Fenty Beauty in the fall of 2017

It was only a matter of time before total world domination. With a role in the all-female Ocean's Eight and now a new beauty line, brand Rihanna is going to explode

Fenty. Remember that (sur)name as you won't be seeing it on just Puma shoes and sportswear anymore, but on a range of makeup created by singer, actress and style maven Rihanna — in collaboration with LVMH's Kendo division (they also own the celebrity-driven lines Marc Jacobs Beauty and Kat Von D Beauty). The collection will purportedly kick off in the Fall of 2017 starting with a holographic lipgloss used on the models at Fenty x Puma SS17 show. The colour? A custom bronze gloss mixed with pink shimmer. The look at that show (below) featured a lot of futuristic shimmer.

Little is known about the line except that it will debut in the fall and will retail at Sephora. What do we think Rihanna will have to offer to the beauty world? Well as a style original with a street edge and a daring take on beauty, we're hoping she will have extraordinary, out-there shades and something for women of colour — after all there are not that many beauty brands catered for this particular market. Rihanna was one of the first to popularise blue lipstick for a new generation and is always known for her unboring, eye-catching makeup, so if she can translate that into lustworthy, high-quality products that women crave, well b$#%h can have all our money.
