Rihanna celebrates her beauty brand's anniversary month with two, stunning looks
Rihanna is pretty much the queen of everything at the moment. From the debut of Savage x Fenty at NYFW to the launch of Fenty Beauty's anniversary makeup collection, everything is coming up diamonds. And her makeup looks also deserve a round of applause. Find out how Rihanna's makeup artist Priscilla Ono created her two looks below.
SUBTLE SPARKLE
At the Diamond Ball in New York City, Ono started with foundation, before defining her face with the Match Stix Matte Skinstick in Truffle and. Next, she applied light layers of Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Hu$tla Baby onto the high points of her face — it gives her a subtle, peachy champagne shimmer. She then applied the Diamond Bomb All Over Diamond Veil, using it all over her lids as the main highlight of this look — you'll notice how there's a superfine shimmer there.
SULTRY SHADOW
Love the sophisticated eye look that Rihanna sported at her brand's anniversary party? Ono used colours from the Moroccan Spice Eyeshadow Palette to create the look. She started with the shade, Quicksand, a satiny, papaya tone and then blended it with Cumin Get It, a matte terracotta, onto the crease of the eyelid. Next, she used Mirage, a metallic rosy bronze, all over the lid. Ono then lined the lashline with the Flyliner Longwear Liquid Eyeliner before adding tonnes of false lashes to give her eyes that pop.
To give a final dose of sparkle, she applied the Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Girl Next Door onto her browbone and inner corners of the eyes, and dusted a light layer of the Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Chic Phreak onto the high points of her face. Finally, if you've noticed the sparkle on Rihanna's décolletage it's because the Diamond Bomb All Over Diamond Veil was dusted on her chest and shoulders.
