Have you made room on your beauty shelf for the new makeup drops that we're about to introduce to you? No? Then read no further. We kindly suggest you bestow some attention to our stories on downsizing, decluttering and getting rid of old makeup instead, because no one should fall into the black hole of beauty hoarding.

But if you've done The Work and are looking forward to all the oh-so exciting makeup releases on the horizon, welcome! Ahead, you'll find the latest shiny new things we can't wait to get our hands on, from highly anticipated celebrity collaborations to swoon-worthy lipsticks.

Gucci Beauty Rouge à Lèvres Satin

The high-flying fashion house has revived their beauty line in 2019 with three staggering lipstick collections sure to make any makeup maven swoon. Rouge à Lèvres Satin is by far the most comprehensive of the lot, comprising 36 creamy, long-lasting lippies with a lightweight satin finish. We're prepping our pout in anticipation when they hit shelves on 12 September.

Rouge Dior Trafalgar Collection

The brand pays homage to Christian Dior's famous 'Coup de Trafalgar' this month, featuring motifs of the Trafalgar dress on the pigment-packed, long-wearing Rouge Dior Lipstick and Blush. The limited edition collection is available in a single, vivid red hue, one that claims to evoke "powerful, explosive femininity." Colour us intrigued — and in need. They arrive at the Dior Takashimaya counter in September 2019.

Mademoiselle Rochas

A fragrance that encapsulates the playfulness and impertinence of today's young Parisian woman, Mademoiselle Rochas contains creamy, musky notes of sandalwood, violet accords, and fruity hints of blackcurrant — delivering on a sweet, sensual scent that is all French elegance. Available at Metro at Paragon from 6 September and other major department stores from 13 September.

Marc Jacobs See-quins Glam Glitter Eyeshadow

This best-selling sequin-finish eyeshadow now comes in four new limited-edition hues: Smash Glitz (pink-mauve), Glitter Rock (gunmetal silver), Pop Rox (blackened plum) and Star Dust (rosy copper). Its innovative formulation allows for super vivid pigments and sparkle, so be sure to use a light hand during application. Failing that, we say embrace the OTT-ness and load up on the glitter come 12 September.

Huda Beauty Life Liner Duo Pencil & Liquid Eyeliner

Huda Beauty's first foray into liner is a real doozy. This dual-ended offering comes with a liquid tip on one side and pencil on the other, allowing users to nail the cat eye flick or a dramatic smoky eye with ease. Its waterproof, smudge-proof and fade-proof formulation further seal the deal, as it promises up to 48 hours of wear without budging. September 12 can't come soon enough.

Best beauty drops from August 2019

Kat Von D Limited Edition Cream Foil Shadow

While this bad boy is technically out on shelves July 30, we'd make an exception for its A+ formulation. A perfect amalgamation of both cream and powder, it harbours the buttery-soft texture of a cream shadow and the opaque finish of a powder offering. Not just that, its unique wet-feel texture also promises a pigment-packed, highly-durable wear that stays on through Singapore's relentless heat. A single swipe is all you need to pack a real jolt of colour on lids — pick between rose gold 'Crystal Rose' and warm platinum 'Silver Chrome’.

Chanel Rouge Allure Ink Fusion

Second-skin foundations are all the rage right now, so it comes as no surprise that its weightless, barely-there texture is a hit for lips too. Chanel delivers on 12 bold hues that settle onto lips instantaneously, drying down to an ultra-matte, high-octane pop of colour that stays all day long. We'll be waiting with bated breath until it arrives in stores 29 August.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Luminous Foundation

The beauty sphere has been abuzz about this baby — and for good reason. Not only is it vegan, cruelty-free, and gluten-free, but it’s also non-comedogenic, dermatologist-tested, and proven suitable for use for those with sensitive, reactive complexions. Equipped with medium coverage and a satin finish, we're predicting sell-out status within an hour. Place your bets — and get in on it, when it goes on sale 15 August.

Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Mattifying Primer

The OG Instant Retouch Primer is no slouch, but the Mattifying version does get our pulse up with its shine-stopping, pore-diffusing abilities. Its lightweight, cushiony texture also helps makeup blend better, last longer, and feel fresh even after hours of wear. Ideal for those with oily/combination skin types and heat-dwellers currently melting in the sun, we'd say it's no stretch to declare Fenty the perfect fit. Mark your calendars for 15 August.

Il Makiage x Carl Libel Lip Collection

The brand's collaboration with beauty guru, Carl Libel, is making waves for its one-of-a-kind design and stunning packaging. Inspired by the galaxy and everything it holds, the full range comprises constellation-engraved matte lippies, glimmering glosses, and unapologetically bold, budge-proof liners. Snag 'em come 8 August.

Etude House x Pony Play Eye Colour Palettes

Yup, it seems Korea's top makeup guru is dropping not one — but two — eyeshadow palettes this month. Meet Best Loved, which consists of 15 highly pigmented hues of matte and shimmer shadows of various corals, burgundies, and browns, as well as Rose Bomb, its brighter, vibrant sister which delivers 15 rose-toned shades of pinks, purples, and reds. Available exclusively on Shopee, Etude House x Pony Play launches 1 July at midnight. Limited sets are available, so move fast.

Nars The Private Paradise Collection Cheek Palettes

That glowing, sun-kissed complexion is easy peasy with Nars' latest summer drop. Think palettes dishing out universally-flattering blushes, bronzers, and highlighters, all of which are weightless on the skin and diffuses into complexions like a dream. For those still firmly on the rose gold bandwagon, opt for the Montu Tane Palette which contains shimmering champagne and satin pink shades. Monty Tape, on the other hand, is all about the gold and the bronze.

Christian Louboutin Beauty Velvet Matte Lip Colour

Christian Louboutin's famed velvet matte lip formulations are now available in more hues of red than ever. We're talking coral-red, mauve-red, pink-red, and more. Ruby newbies, they got you covered too with a bunch of sheer shades to ease you into your trial-and-error. The intensely rich, highly-pigmented blend will be available on our shores from 1 July.

Anna Sui Serenity Wish Fragrance

For those in desperate need for some R&R but can't quite manage to make the time for it (we feel ya), spritz on Anna Sui's all-new gentle, floral fragrance instead. A juicy bouquet of apples, Italian lemons, and white jasmine soothes frayed nerves, while golden cedar, clean musk, and sandalwood cling to skin like a warm hug. And if that doesn't get your pulse slowing, the sleeping fairies, flowers, and butterflies adorning the bottle just might.

By Terry Brightening CC Powder

Behold, the powder version of the fan-favourite CC serum. A light dusting of this baby is all that is needed for a radiant, lit-from-within glow that blurs imperfections, evens out the skin, and neutralises redness. Available in four versatile hues, it also packs regenerating and hydrating rosehip oil to ensure that skin stays well-moisturised even after long hours of use. Read: no cracking or flaking at the end of a long day.

Urban Decay Perversion Waterproof Mascara

The cult-favourite Perversion mascara gets an upgrade in the form of a waterproof, smudge-proof formula that doesn't skimp on its lengthening and volumising capabilities. According to the brand, you can now "indulge in intense, blacker-than-black pigment, even in your sweatiest moments." Uh, is it a little too soon to declare it a staple in our makeup bags?

Chanel Les Beiges Water-Fresh Tint

It's a foundation, it's a makeup base, it's... both? Bearing a light, nude-skin finish, Chanel's Water-Fresh Tint delivers on a subtle, glowing hint to skin; with its lightweight, ultra-fine texture working to enhance the complexion of every woman rather than conceal it. Glide it on to provide a finishing touch to your made-up visage or apply it on its own for instant luminosity. In sum: a sheer, radiance boosting complexion-enhancer, if you will.

Kora Organics Noni Lip Tint

Constantly kissable puckers are within reach with the assistance of Kora Organic's latest lip tint offering. Certified organic and vegan for all you conscious shoppers out there, it also comes with a nutrient-rich formula that conditions, smooths, and plumps pouts, with the inclusion of beetroot juice adding a sheer wash of colour to lips. Now, if only they'll drop 'em in more hues, too.

Best beauty drops from April 2019

Benefit Roller Liner

What we want in a perfect eyeliner: to be able to withstand sweat, tears and sebum while giving us laser-precise and hyper-saturated flicks. Benefit's new liquid eyeliner promises all of this and will be available online via Benefit's website sometime in January.

Fenty Beauty Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick

In the world of makeup where new products are dropped on a weekly basis, this is a long time coming. A year after Fenty Beauty by Rihanna launched its MatteMoiselle range of long-lasting, light-as-air matte lipsticks, it's finally expanding the repertoire with another 10 new shades, including three out-there hues (violet, green, and black) amongst wearable pink, red and brown.

Chanel Vision d'Asie L'Art du Detail

If you're just as smitten as us with the beach-perfect looks (think luminous complexions, vivid fuchsia lips and glossy lids) on Chanel's spring/summer 2019 show, you'll be thrilled about its new SS19 makeup collection, inspired by global creative makeup and colour director Lucia Pica's photographic expedition to Japan and South Korea. Expect a soft, muted eye palette of gold, red, green, blue and brown; two Baume Essential silky gel highlighters in transparent and peach; and the Rouge Allure Velvet in violet fuchsia, apricot beige, tile red, luminous raspberry and poppy orange.

By Terry Lip-Expert

Matte or gloss? It's 2019 — either or is so last year. With By Terry's new Lip Expert lipsticks collection, you get both, in pigment-rich formulas that are said to be long-lasing and comfortable to wear. What we are excited about this new drop is the spread of colours available — 32 in all — nudes, glamorous reds, deep burgundies as well as bold pinks and oranges. Consider us spoilt.

Kat Von D Beauty Lolita Capsule Collection

Big fan of Kat Von D Beauty's dusty mauve hue named Lolita? (We know; it's the brand's most beloved, fastest-selling and highest-rated shade of all time.) You're in luck, because it's been reinvented in three all-new formats in a capsule collection: an eyeshadow palette, a long-wearing matte eyeliner, and a glimmering liquid lipstick.

Clarins 4-Colour All-in-One Pen

It's not as new as the rest on this list, but Clarin's limited edition super nifty pen is worth a space in your makeup stash. With a new packaging and two new shade collections, the revolutionary makeup palette features four retractable colours — three for the eyes, one for the lips. Harmony 01 features deep black, blue marine, forest green for eyes and Rosewood for lips; while Harmony 02 consists of deep black, platinum grey and essential brown for eyes and Clarin's signature red for lips.

Beyond the Vines Eden Room Mist

Local contemporary womenswear label Beyond the Vines has dipped its toes into the beauty world with a new scent called Eden, inspired by the lushness of the forests. Formulated as a room mist, take the natural outdoors into your space with its calming blend of scotch pine, grapefruit, rosemary, petitgrain and rosewood.
