Monochromatic mood: Marc Jacobs' Mod Noir fragrance
The designer has created an exclusive, new fragrance for Sephora that is as crisp and understated as you would expect

Highlighting the growing relevance of global beauty chain Sephora among beauty shoppers today, designer Marc Jacobs has created a scent just for them. Dubbed Mod Noir, the airy, floral fragrance will be launched exclusively in Sephora and Marc Jacobs boutiques.

The fragrance comes in an orb-like bottle skinned with black-and-white stripes. Simple, chic, and reminiscent of the designer's striped fashion prints, we simply adore the cute and modern flaçon. Created by perfumer Jean-Claude Delville, the scent includes lush and dewy green notes, freshly-cut gardenias, sparkling water, and a dry down of creamy musks. While we feel like we can almost smell the fragrance already, fans of the house's scent creations will have to wait till August for a closer sniff.

Mod Noir will be available at Sephora outlets and Marc Jacobs boutiques in August
