Narcissus reigns

Everyone loves a good comeback story.

We cheered when Robert Downey Jr. made his triumphant return to the silver screen. We stormed Sephora when Urban Decay's Naked Cherry hit the shelves after the OG Naked palette got the axe. The new-and-improved Kat Von D Lock-It Foundation is now considered to be staple in many-a-makeup-guru's routine.

So when we heard about Mamonde's revamp of their iconic Floral Hydro line, fist pump. Considered to be a cult favourite amongst skincare junkies, few thought there was a need for Mamonde to give their winning formula a face lift. Alas, that's not what the spirit of Mamonde is about. Striving for the good to be great, the lab coats at the Mamonde research facility studied not one, not ten but 45 species of the Narcissus flower. The goal: to find the best of the bunch for the upgraded Floral Hydro line; a commendable level of dedication considering how some of us can't even commit to a long-term telco plan without breaking out in anxiety. Heh.

And you can bet all that science that went into Mamonde's revamped line leads to better skin. With Floral Hydro, your dermis is meant to retain moisture for a longer period of time, with the increased moisturising formula of the product delivering an instant — and intense — burst of hydration for those with dry, parched skin. #thankthelord
