1. Kylie Jenner sells majority stake of her beauty line to Coty.

American multi-national beauty company, Coty, has agreed to pay US$600 million to acquire 51% stake of Jenner's beauty lines — a deal which values the entire enterprise at US$1.2 billion. This partnership allows Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin to expand globally and enter new beauty categories, while Jenner continues to lead the company's creative efforts and communications. Talk about a dream team.


2. Yung Raja will be launching a fragrance with Maison 21G.

The rapper, songwriter, and actor is collaborating with bespoke fragrance brand, Maison 21G, to launch his own perfume, 'Royalty', containing sandalwood, lavender, and oris notes — all of which were Raja's favourite scents growing up.

3. Victoria Beckham Beauty expands into skincare.

4. Estée Lauder is buying Dr. Jart.

The news broke earlier this week: Estée Lauder announced plans to acquire the cult K-Beauty label by purchasing two-thirds of the company's shares. This is the first time an Asian-based beauty brand will be joining the Estée family. President and CEO Fabrizio Freda expressed her excitement at the addition to their "diverse portfolio of prestige beauty brands".

5. KKW x Mario: The Artist & Muse Collection has dropped.

The full range comprises a 10-shade eyeshadow palette, matte lipstick, gloss, blush, and lip liner — all of which come in hues and textures essential to re-creating Kim's favourite looks. "If I were on a deserted island with Kim and I could only take a few things, these are the shades and the textures I would take," Dedivanovic explains in an interview with Allure. "From an artist's perspective, they're the perfect shades that work on Kim but also on other skin tones. I can mix them together and they all melt beautifully together."

6. Tiffany & Co. launches their first-ever his-and-her fragrance collection.

Tiffany & Love honours the brand's legacy of love and commitment through two unique dual scents crafted by respective perfumer duos, Sophie Labbé and Nicolas Beaulieu of IFF, as well as Honorine Blanc and Marie Salamagne of Firmenich. Tiffany & Love for Him is a citrusy confection held by a woody base while Tiffany & Love for Her scents the body with modern, earthy notes.

7. Nina Dobrev is Dior's latest beauty brand partner.

The Canadian actress reveals that she has been a fan of the brand since childhood, and began wearing the Miss Dior fragrance when she was "way too young". She has also waxed lyrical about the brand's Forever 24H Wear High Perfection Skin-Caring Matte Foundation and 999 shade of red lipstick — making this union a dream come true for Dobrev.
