Kim Kardashian might be planning for her son’s future beauty line, Christian Louboutin Beauty lands in SG, and other beauty news this week
1. Kim Kardashian is planning for a Psalm West beauty line.
Maybe. Three-week-old Psalm West will be joining the family business sometime soon, some predict, as Kim filed for 16 separate skincare, body care, fragrance, and haircare trademarks in her son's name. Others applaud the mom for smart parenting — the legal move protects her son's identity from copyright infringement. And in other Kardashian-related news...
2. Kim Kardashian cuts her hair into a blunt lob.
Eagle-eyed fans caught a glimpse of Kimmy's new hair in a series of Snapchat videos she posted days ago. The sleek straight lob is identical to the shorter style she rocked in summer last year, down to the sharp edges and center parting.

3. Christian Louboutin Beauty will be arriving in Singapore come July.
The full collection of lippies, single pot eyeshadows, and nail polishes — all fitted with the brand's signature razor-sharp stiletto heel cap — will be available at Tangs department store come 1 July. Alternatively, sweep 'em up early during the pre-launch on tangs.com 20 June.
4. Gillette's latest ad features a man teaching his transgender son how to shave.
Kicking off pride month with a bang, Gillette's new commercial features Samson Bonkeabantu Brown, who is transgender, being coached by his father on shaving techniques. Praise came raining in from the LGBTQI+ community, with Brown later addressing how supportive the brand has been in giving the transgender community hope. "I am confident that this ad will encourage many of my trans siblings and fill them with the knowledge that our existence in this world can be filled with the love and support we deserve," he explains. Is it too much to call Gilette the beacon of hope in the beauty industry? We think not.
5. Kristen Stewart bleaches her brows.
The actress debuted her non-existent arches at Chanel Metiers d'Art runway, alongside a matching pixie cut and some shocking green liner. Will the rest of the celebrity set follow suit? We're just going to have to wait and see.
6. The "wrist-freckle challenge" blows up on the Internet.
Chaos ensued when a Twitter user tweeted a series of pictures exhibiting various women's wrists bearing freckles and/or small mole. The caption: "ladies... u got a freckle on the middle of ur wrist or is this a myth lmao". 11,000 women apparently do, and have responded with pictures of their own freckles and moles, sparking the Internet's latest viral trend. While, uh, inane, it's relatively harmless compared to last year's Tide Pod Challenge. We'll take it.

7. Jeffree Star launches his first ever lipgloss.
Jeffree Star's The Gloss' pigment-packed formula is crème brûlee-scented, available in 18 shades and two different finishes (glitter and shine). While fans are pumped to try out the formula, they're less keen on the packaging, which has already earned several Seattle Space Needle comparisons. Perhaps he'll credit it as a source of inspiration?
8. Colourpop drops 26 new blush and highlighter stix.
The brand that never sleeps is back with new blush and highlighter formulations, this time in a handy stick form that allows for on-the-go application. There are 18 blush variations and 8 highlighters in total which can be bought either singularly or in a bundle. Just take our money already.
9. Lime green nails are back in style.
Yes, we're talking the highly-saturated, neon-type offering seen on the likes of Rihanna and influencers such as Kathleen Fuentes. The bold should opt for full-on talons (Queen RiRi style) while those still hesitant to get on the bandwagon can limit the lime to nail tips.
