Kiehl’s has got a groovy new mask that riffs off its famed Calendula Toner
The five-minute facial
From facial wash to a newly minted mask, Kiehl's calendula-based skincare collection is the one that needs to sit on your bathroom's top shelf if hydrated and plumped are the keywords you obsess over when it comes to your complexion. Having garnered a cult following since the iconic Calendula Toner's debut in the '60s, Kiehl's has now beefed up the series with the launch of the Calendula & Aloe Soothing Hydration Masque.
Sourced from the same calendula fields, each flower is manually picked, hand-sorted and naturally sundried to preserve the delicacy of the golden bloom right down to its last petal. The harvest is then formulated into a gel mask where the inherent soothing benefits of the calendula is infused with aloe vera juice to bolster its calming properties, on top of injecting a burst of hydration that veils the skin with a cooling sensation. Added with chamomile and lemon essential oils for a fresh aroma, the contents of a single tub is a petal-powered pick-me-up that revives the skin in just five minutes with regular use of up to three times weekly. Yup, you read that right — the natural and gentle formula is so efficacious, it needs only five minutes to work its magic, and is also suited for all skin types. Used on top of your usual skincare regime or alone, the lightweight texture wipes off without a fuss and is the perfect speedy remedy for superskin.
The Calendula & Aloe Soothing Hydration Masque is available at Kiehl's counters from May, $62
