A hard truth: the gargantuan selection of K-Beauty available on our shores often trigger confusion. One brand's products can appear indistinguishable from another, particularly to those less-versed in the language of beauty.

It is a problem skillfully evaded by prestigious beauty label, Hera. Since arriving Singapore in May 2018, the brand has quickly broken new ground in both the cosmetics and skincare front, releasing revolutionary, efficacious formulas housed in standout packaging in steady streams. Case in point: their highly-popular (and constantly sold out) UV Mist Cushion. Not one to rest on their laurels, they are now celebrating their one-year anniversary with the launch of the new Black Foundation; which comprises a long-wear, lightweight formula and a soft matte finish suited to our unforgiving climate.

That's not all. The Black Foundation will be making its grand debut at Hera's first-ever beauty pop-up, Our Black Secret. Expect revolutionary digital experiences, a complimentary black cocktail concoction by 12.24 bar, and an Instagram-worthy hideout that visitors can unearth with hints hidden throughout the pop-up.

Global makeup artists will also be flying down to share tips and tricks to achieving Jennie Kim's — Hera's latest ambassador and member of top Korean girl group, Blackpink, FYI — smooth, poreless complexion. Visitors can also spend a minimum of $150 to stand a chance to win a trip to Seoul, with the odds of winning increasing incrementally the more money spent. Register on their site to access the pop-up. Mark it on your calendars, ladies. This is one event you don't want to miss.

Hera's Our Black Secret Pop-up will be located at 391 Orchard Road, Singapore 238873, and run from 30 April to 5 May. Registration begins 20 April. Admission is free.
