That's about all you'll see of her in this campaign, as singer Sia, is named the newest ambassador for M.A.C Viva Glam

What's in a red lipstick? A lot — if that little tube can actually save a life. We're not just being dramatic for the sake of it, seeing that M.A.C's Viva Glam has been helping individuals affected by HIV and AIDS for over 20 years. Dozens of socially-conscious celebrities from the original diva Ru Paul to Debbie Harry to Rihanna have graced the campaign, and this time, the media-shy Aussie singer Sia raises her voice to join the chorus. Famous for never showing her face and hiding behind a fringe of bleached blonde hair, Sia has shown she is not above poking fun at her persona — see her cameo as Songbird Serenade in My Little Pony movie.

M.A.C VivaGlam Sia, $33

Her vivid, warm red lipstick, Viva Glam Sia, is just the kind of lush, romantic red that will suit almost everyone. And the best part, as it has always been is that M.A.C will donate the full 100 per cent of proceeds — that's literally every cent you pay for the lippie — to the cause. Says the brand in a statement on its website, "As the largest corporate non-pharmaceutical giver in the arena, the M.A.C AIDS Fund is committed to addressing the link between poverty and HIV/AIDS by supporting diverse organisations around the world that provide a wide range of services to people living with HIV/AIDS. To date, the M.A.C AIDS Fund has raised over $400 million exclusively through the sale of M.A.C Viva Glam Lipstick and Lipglass donating 100 per cent of the sale price to fight HIV/AIDS." Seeing all the good the makeup brand has done, how can it not make you want to pick up a kick-ass, Sia-approved red lippie and support the cause.
