Fenty Beauty launches a huge concealer line, Lady Gaga’s Haus Beauty now has a website, and other beauty news this week
1. Fenty Beauty is launching 50 shades of concealer
...on January 11. The Pro Filt'r Concealer will have shade numbers that corresponds with Fenty's foundation shades, so you won't need to figure out yours if you already use Rihanna's makeup line.
2. Lady Gaga's new cosmetic & skincare line now has a website
2018 was a big year for Lady Gaga with A Star Is Born, three 2019 Grammy Awards nominations, and the launch of "Enigma", her Las Vegas concert residency. But there's no rest for the wicked, it seems, as her beauty brand Haus Beauty quietly launched a website last week. There's nothing on the site save for an email field to receive updates, but this confirms that the first collection is definitely on its way.
3. Kendall Jenner is "really into green these days".
The supermodel wore a neon green off-shoulder top with matching bright green eyeshadow on NYE, following her graphic, florescent-green cat-eye look at the latest People's Choice Awards.
4. Mushroom blonde is the new It hair colour of the season.
The colour correction job — a perfect in-between ashy shade between brown and blonde — by hair guru Yokasta Perez from Rockville, Maryland has everyone going heart-eyes on Instagram of late. The best part? It's pretty low-maintanence.
5. Will these viral Louis Vuitton braids give this man an internship?
Magnus Juliano, a 27-year-old rapper and graphic designer from Columbus, Ohio, has won the praise of Instagrammers and — ahem — Vogue when he showcased his box braids stacked with 3D-printed LV charms. @Virgilabloh are you paying attention?
6. One renowned collage artist gave past celebrity icons fillers and modern makeup
...to hilariously surreal results, as we discovered this week. See Mat Maitland's work, which includes a slew of big name record covers such as Disclosure's Caracel and Elton John's Wonderful Crazy Night; plus commissioned art by Kenzo, Hunter and Louis Vuitton, on Audrey Hepburn, Princess Diana and Marilyn Monroe, via his Instagram.
