Fenty Beauty celebrates its first year anniversary with a diamond-themed collection

Fenty Beauty is continuing its relentless drive to the top of all our makeup must-buy lists with a new, anniversary collection

Diamonds are a girl's best friend, if the whopping rocks newly-engaged women like Hailey Baldwin are sporting are anything to go by. Remember the tagline in the fictional advertising campaign for How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days — 'frost yourself'? If you can't afford the real deal, Fenty Beauty's new collection is pretty much the next best thing. It's a simple two-piece collection that is dripping in bling, but it's really all you need to make a big impact.

Diamond Bomb

First up, we have to talk about the Diamond Bomb All-Over Diamond Veil. At first we thought that it was another Killawatt Powder, but this is in fact a superfine, 3D sparkle for both the face and body that gives you a diamond-dusted effect. Just to make this even more bomb a product, it was inspired by the crystal, Adam Selman dress Rihanna rocked at the CFDA Awards in 2014, when she won the Style Icon award. This powder features a unique texture — it's kind of a jelly powder that feels almost bouncy, but melts into the skin for full-on sparkle. It comes in just one shade, How Mant Carats?! that suits any skin tone. Also available: A pink kabuki brush that is perfect for dusting the face, décolletage and even the shoulders with when you're out on the town. 

The second product in the collection is the Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer in Diamond Milk. The milky, pearl shade is again a universal one just like the original, Fenty Glow, but this has a much cooler, silvery sheen. Like a dewy highlighter for the lips, you'll love the non-sticky formula and the fact that it makes the lips look fuller and smoother. We would layer this over a nude lipstick, but you can wear it bare as well. Bonus points for the delicious, peachy-vanilla scent and the conditioning shea butter in the formula.
