Felicity Jones is the new face of Clé de Peau Beauté
If you're familiar with the advertising and campaign images surrounding Japanese-French skincare brand Clé de Peau Beauté you'll know that American actress Amanda Seyfried has been its face since 2010. Well, come 2018 the brand will be launching a new campaign, with its newly appointed global brand face, Academy Award-nominated, English actress, Felicity Jones. A captivating blend of beauty, brains, grace and quintessential English charm, the 34-year old Jones is Oxford educated and has played iconic roles, such as that of Jane Wilde Hawking (wife of Stephen) in The Theory of Everything, Jyn Erso in the Star Wars standalone film Rogue One and will soon portray the notorious RBG (that's Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg to the uninitiated) in the upcoming biopic On the Basis of Sex.
You'll soon see Jones in a January 2018 campaign shot by renowned British photographer David Sims. Says Yukari Suzuki, the brand director of Clé de Peau Beauté,"A crucial element of Clé de Peau Beauté is to help customers feel that our brand belongs in their lives. Felicity is aspirational, yet highly relatable, which makes her the ideal face of Clé de Peau Beauté. She embodies the brand's DNA: intelligent, uncompromising and exquisite. Her passion and incredible dedication to her craft have allowed her to make an impact on the world and those around her."
On her part, Jones is thrilled to be part of this collaboration, a prestigious one that will grant her more visibility and a certain cache, "It's important to me that my values align with any brand I'm affiliated with. Clé de Peau Beauté made it clear that they approached me because of my principles and dedication. I'm so proud of the Spring/Summer 2018 campaign and cannot wait to unveil it to the world." Shot over the course of two days in London, you'll soon see Jones and her delicate, dreamy beauty in the brand's chic, stunning visuals.
