Everything we know about this new cherry-themed makeup collection
Fans of Urban Decay's Naked Palette mourned its passing – the brand discontinued it earlier this month — but out of its ashes rises a new red hot phoenix: The Naked Cherry Eyeshadow Palette. The palette contains 12 never-before-seen hues that include soft mattes and metallics. Shades range from a creamy ivory to rose coppers to a deep plum. And unlike other Naked Palettes that stuck to simpler packaging, this one is adorned with a row of 12 luscious cherries that represent the shades inside. It comes with double-sided brush and full-sized mirror. Standout colours include Bing, a deep mauve, Juicy, a soft peach and Drunk Dial, a metallic burgundy. As with all Urban Decay eyeshadows, expect a creamy, blendable formula that doesn't crease or feather.
If you're really into the whole cherry vibe, there are other products in the collection that will complete your look. The brand has released limited-edition shades of the 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil and Vice Lipstick that come with the same, cherry embellished outer packaging. Our favourite shades included the Eye Pencil in Love Drug, a metallic wine, and the Vice Lipstick in Cherry, a deep berry wine. Finally the icing on the cake is the All-Nighter Makeup Setting Spray that get a new, fresh, cherry-scented smell. The travel-sized spray disperses an ultra-fine mist and is perfect for toting around — plus it helps makeup stay put for at least 16 hours.
