Fans of cult beauty brands rejoice, as Escentials has just launched its e-commerce site

We love escentials and make no secret of it. So to find out the 16-year old store — which first started out in the Raffles Hotel Shopping Arcade and now has physical stores in Tangs Orchard and Paragon — was making its foray into e-commerce was certainly welcome news. The new escentials site has just been launched and you can head there now to get a decent selection of products from 25 exclusive brands including Annick Goutal, Eve Lom and Ren. The site is categorised into fragrances, skincare, bath & body, makeup and home scents, or you can search by brands or the new products that are in on the site. As of now, expect to see 400 products from the current stable of 25 brands, although escentials has plans to put up its full portfolio of 1000 products from over 100 brands by the end of the year. Says Luxasia Group CEO Wolfgang Baier, "It is all about giving customers more shopping options and greater accessibility to cutting-edge fragrance, skincare and beauty products."
Some of our favourite buys off the site include Leonor Greyl hair masks, Diptyque candles and accessories — a wick trimmer anyone? — as well as bath and body products from Compagnie de Provence. Currently free shipping is offered on the site, with next day delivery available, perfect for when you need something in a rush. And because the site has more than just commerce in mind, it has exclusive editorial content as well under its 'The Paper' section. Expect expert recommendations from makeup artist Larry Yeo, as well as contributions from people in the industry, including Buro beauty editor Renée Batchelor's favourite products.
