Dior wants to volumise your lashes and brows with new squeezable mascara tubes
As the proverb goes: if it ain't broke, don't fix it. A sentiment still largely followed by the beauty industry, it is apparent in Holy Grail products that remain unchanged since their inception from years past (see: Pixi's Glow Tonic, Anastasia Beverly Hills' Dip Brow Pomade, and the Nars Orgasm range). An unspoken rule of sorts, it is one Dior completely defies in the release of the Diorshow Pump 'N' Volume HD.
Displacing the cult-favourite Diorshow Mascara, the new release comes equipped with the same enhancing, defining, and volumising properties as its predecessor — though with marked improvements. Think an all-new formula that boosts lashes without weighing them down, alongside a bi-material applicator that allows for a just-right amount of mascara to be scooped up. Translation: no excess or clumping. The new edition also promises a 24-hour wear time with no smudging, flaking or creasing.
The bold move includes the creation of the Diorshow Pump 'N' Brow, so brows can get the same pumped up treatment as lashes. The micro-fibre enriched formula thickens and texturises arches to give three-dimensional volume, with it housed in the classic squeeze tube like its mascara counterpart. Pro tip? Give it a good squeeze before application so it loads more evenly on the brush.
Rounding up the lot is the 3 Couleurs Tri(o)blique Palette. Inspired by the Dior Oblique Handbag collection, each palette provides a trio of metallic, glitter and matte velvet shadows in varying hues to adorn on lids. The selection comprises neutrals such as Black Smoky Canvas and Brown Earthy Canvas as well as brighter, louder hues in Pink Rosy Canvas and Peach Coral Canvas.
Available at all Dior boutiques and counters from June 2019.
